Life Updates I

Excuse me for my lack of updates. I've been lazy to blog these days. So, if you're still reading my blog, I love youuu!! lol. =D Thanks for putting the effort to drop by.

As you can see my chatbox on the right column has been spammed by idiots and so, don't bother posting anything there coz I don't think I bother reading it anymore. I might even take out the chatbox, well.. later lah!

Life so far has been... well okay, I suppose? I have my ups and downs but life has to go on. A lot of things happened for the past couple of months and definitely there are a lot of changes as well. I'll be turning 20 this year (omg, I don't feel like my age) and I have more responsibilities, more things to worry and think about, more time spent on building up my career and much much more.

For the past 3 months I've been thinking and stressing out on so many things. Studies, career, relationships, money, time, my health, parents and definitely my future. Having all these spinning round and round in my mind like plates of sushi's from Sushi King passing by, almost never ending. I spent my whole day, almost everyday thinking about all these things and its frustrating that I can't have a solution for all of them.

Recently, I just got my A-Levels results. One thing I could say is that I'm not happy with it. I saw my hopes and dreams crash and burn with just a click of my computer mouse as I saw the grades popped up on my computer screen. I felt numb for awhile and for the first time in my life frankly, I felt totally lost. I felt like I didn't know what the hell was I doing and what am I supposed to do at that moment. For the next few days, I was not in the mood for anything and it went on like that for the rest of the week. I even came up with this crazy idea to stop studying, stay home, get married to a billionaire, become a housewife and produce babies. =/ Stupid me, i've spent so many years studying all my life with all those sleepless nights, fevers and stress just to end up to become  a fulltime housewife??! No. Crazy ahh?? Even if my future husband is filthy rich, I don't ever wanna end up being a stay-at-home mummy. Girls, we gotta' be independent and support yourself. =)

What about money? Well, its Chinese New Year.. So, I got alotta Angpau's? teeheehee. Okay, lets be more serious here. Money will always be an issue we all talk about no matter how rich or poor you are. Things are getting more expensive these days or maybe its just me, that I've been spending too much on expensive things despite loving cheap and if possible, free things. lol. Money ain't easy to earn. So people, if you're too rich and you don't know what to spend on, spend on me(or ppl like me). Pay for my education so that I can have more and better choices. Don't spend it on unnecessary things like building more skyscrapers or bridges or go to the moon or whatever that are useless.

Time is of the essence. Time is precious. time is definitely running out. From now, I'll be quite busy, busier than before. It has been giving me headaches thinking about time, in general. *exhales*

For thr past two or three months, I had fever twice already and its not a good sign. The most recent one would be during the first night of CNY when I was at my hometown, Batu Pahat. I was so unfortunate to fall ill where my whole family and relatives had the chance to actually meet up and enjoy each other's company. Instead of doing that, I spent my days sleeping with tissue papers everywhere. I don't know if it has a hay fever due to allergies to my cousins dogs or theres a possibility that its the weather or stress or I'm just unlucky or its just everything I've just mentioned. sighs. Now, I feel so much better except that i have flu, nose block, dry throat and a coarse voice from time to time. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

My parents, Aww, I love them to bits although I don't show it. They're getting older and I'm getting more afraid and worried for them. I don't wanna like mention it but they're getting old. You know what I'm talking about don't you?? =/ Hmmm. I just love having them around and I can't imagine how my days would be like without them. I wish that they will forever be blessed and showered with happiness, good health, prosperity, long life, luck, love and everything nice, especially my mum's cooking skills. =D

Relationships. I'm a bit sensitive and personal when it comes to this topic as it is a sensitive and personal matter.. I prefer keeping this to myself and I only share it with the people I can totally trust. For all I can say is that I never regret for what had happened between us and what we had. =) We may not be right for each other as more than just friends but we'll be okay. I will always remember and cherish the good times we had and I'll keep them close to my heart. Whatever bad memories we had was just a part of growing up, the experience and its just life. It has taught me to be wiser and careful in the future. I hate you and myself for all the bad memories we had. I still care for you and I will always remember you. Thank you for everything, for caring for me, for being there for me, for loving me and everything. A big thank you to your family too. =) Take care, Afiq. I wish you all the best in whatever you're doing, especially the things you have passion for. I would like to apologize for the mean things I said, the arguments I caused and all the things I did which hurt your feeling when we were together. For all that, I'm truly sorry. You know, it will take me some time to actually let this settle down before I move on. Moving on is never easy, it never was and it will never be easy. Moving on does not always mean we gave up. It heals. As much as i don't believe it when people told me, trust me, time will heal the broken heart when you move on. Just, don't give up trying again. Don't be afraid to love again. =)

Huaaaaa! I feel so emo now and its draining my energy. =(  I don't feel well. Besides, my throat and flu are killing me. Need to sleep.

I've got lots more going on but that's all I'm willing to share for now, until next time... =)

Shopping with Elle.

I haven't shopped for about 2 months already. T.T
So, I finally had the time on Friday since I finish my class at 11 a.m.

While waiting for Elle to finish school at 12.30 noon, I was walking around KLCC with a growling stomach. I was so hungry coz I didn't eat anything for breakfast.

When Elle arrived, she was like

"Eh, let's go eat chillis."

I was thinking of eating Subways but then again..... HEHEHE

Here we are at Chillis! We got a long and huge table for 2 person. =D I was satisfied coz I've got lotsa space to sit and dump my bags.

My all time favourite, Bottomless Tostada Chips!

I love their salsa dip, coz you're hot and your're cold!

Elle's meal, something that I used to order.

Grilled Fire Chicken Portobello.
Notice that its a heart-shaped chicken?

It didn't taste as good too.

After Chillis, we walked to Pavilion.

I love their Grand Entrance and will always do.

I look forward for every festivals coz Pavilion has the most creative or one of the most creative and attractive festive decorations.

A few strange incidents happened while we're shopping. One of it was a lady photographer from The Star newspapers randomly came up and asked Elle and I to pose for her with the decoratios at Pavilion's Entrance.

Both of us were like "oh why not", its just a picture. Both of us posed awkwardly coz we were being told to look fascinated with the flowers. LOL.

Our legs were about to break from all the walking. not that we're wearing heels coz we're wearing sport shoes. We came up wit this radom idea to watch a movie called Fame. I thought I would regret watching it but it was actually a great movie.

The movie  made me feel like dancing again. =)

The end.

I really really can't wait for Chinese New Year.

How I spent my Merry Christmas

I spent almost every Christmas out of KL. Except last year, I celebrated in KL, shopping. =D My auntie and uncle invited us over to their place at Sitiawan, Perak. Its a really small town with no shopping malls like Bukit Bintang or Pavilion. But hey, at least there's McDonalds and 7-Eleven.

We stopped at Sungai Buloh Rest Area. We had Sate for Dinner.

It wasn't the best Sate I've ever tasted but it still taste awesome especially if you're really hungry!

We arrived at midnight and the kids were still so wide awake running around, colouring and playing hide and seek.

My four-year-old cousin is fascinated with Elle's braces.
When I had braces years before, she always ask me
"Denise jie jie why do you like to put shiny stickers on your teeth??"

The next day, I woke up late. The kids were jumping on the bed trying to wake Elle, Mj and I.

I took my bath and my auntie called all of us to go down to her clinic for a checkup. When it was my turn, my auntie started using those thing that produce like she's gonna drill my tooth out. She did scaling for us which is cleaning our teeth, remove tartar (CaCO3) and did some fillings for tooth cavity.

The Dentist.

She's earning big bucks as an ordinary Dentist. Has awesome techniques and skills when it comes to handling the patients tooth.

She graduated from The University of Indonesia with Honors under the government's scholarship. And I do hope someday in the future, I'll get mine too.

It was Christmas Eve and later that night we had sort of a buffet dinner at "home". The maids prepared almost everything. I miss having a maid at home. LOL.

Briyani rice with cashew nuts and raisins. <3

together with mutton curry, fried chicken, salad and carbonated Air Bandung.
It was awesome.

After dinner, it was time to give out the presents.

Love the tree. =)

Actually, I'm not a Christian and I sure do know Christmas isn't all about the presents and Santa Clause. Its a time where you share the joy of having each other whether if it is your family or friends. I'm not really aware the deeper meaning of it though.

Look how excited he is. =D

Elle got Jenga blocks as her present. LOL

I got a pair of black wedges. =D

Everyone had loads of fun that night. Elle, MJ and I spent most of the night on our phones.
Messages after messages and also phone calls.

After receiving endless of incoming messages, it stopped and I spent the rest of the morning talking on the phone for a really long time. =D

Christmas Day

All of us went to this seafood restaurant.

 Good business, I tell you.

Well, I can't really comment on the food coz I find it average.
I don't eat seafood.

 I love rice.
I know Carbo is fattening but whatever lahhh..

 Prawn Marmite.

Black Pepper Crab.

Love the Cocunut Juice.

 My parents.

 My Punjabi Uncle

and

 our host. =)

=D

After lunch,

Like always, we head down to Teluk Batik Beach. I've been here way before my younger cousins were born. I used to go Pangkor Island every year until I got tired of it.

The cutest of all, Nick.

He loves to say
"eeeee... Sho cute!!"

There was way too many people. T.T

I don't really like the beach here. Its a bit dirty but not as bad as Batu Ferringhi's beach. Or maybe it is. I still think as for now, Langkawi is the best.

Pipi and Pupu

The kids couldn't wait any longer. They didn't seem to care as along as they had fun.

and by the look of their faces and expression, They really did have fun.

As for me, i think I sort of had fun taking pictures and enjoy the sun.

=DDDD

There was a bit drama happened at the beach and it was all alright after that.

Lesson of the day : When they say they're leaving, they MEAN IT! - I quote by Elle Tan.

Had Soto for dinner. Damn wei, I've been eating a lot of good food. =D

I spent the rest of the night watching movies and talking on the phone and smsing once again. XD

What a day.

On Boxing Day.

It is the day marks the 5th Anniversary of The Tsunami 2004 killing massive amount of lives and properties. May your souls rest in peace.

It's the day we're going back to KL.

Spent my morning with Nick.

He's like dragging me from the room to the living room, to the kitchen and everywhere!!

He wanted Vitagen.
Look how possessive he is.
Something that my Uncle and Auntie would never buy for them coz its sweet and all sugary.
Actually, they don't get to eat candies or sweets or vitagen or junks like potato ships and all coz my auntie doesn't want then to have tooth cavities. This is what happened when your mom is a dentist and your dad is a doctor.

He couldn't stop asking me to play blocks and cars with him.
He loves jumping on beds which I'm not allowed to. T.T

After awhile, he settles down on the floor, fast asleep.

I keep asking this two-year-old to sleep on the sofa or on his bed but he doesn't want.
I ended up taking a pillow for him to sleep on.
Poor fella.
He must be real tired to even wake up.

You know, kids nowadays are so different.

The first time I read Seventeen Magazine when I was 14.

Kids nowadays,

read Seventeen at a tender age of four.
So cute right?? XD

Those magazines were mine and I gave to my auntie for her fellow patients to read while waiting for their turn.

I think she got the photogenic side from Elle.

When it was time for us to go, the youngest one, Nick was crying and sobbing in tears that his face and eyes went all read. He wanted to follow us home. awww  =(

I remember I was like that when I was younger too. Its really amazing to watch over the kids as they grow. I can't wait to tell them the things they do or say when they're all grown ups. =D It'll be hilarious. The things they do and the words they say.

That all for now.

GOSH!!! It took me so long to upload all these pictures. There are like 1500 pictures in my computer but ofcourse I can't be uploading all of them.

That was how I spent my Christmas as I had a wonderful time over there.

=)
