Favourite Drink

My all time favourite drink after Iced water is Bubble tea. The Original Pearl Milk Tea.

I used to get it at Each-a-cup at Ampang Point Outlet but not anymore. Now, I'm loving Chatime which is at Pavilion KL. Too bad I can't get them all the time. =/

Cupcakes!

I have a slight obsession with cupcakes right now for god knows what reason. Maybe the the feeling of being high with sugar. =DDDD

Elle and I were at KLCC last week. She dragged me to KLCC to see Yao Bang. -.-" why am I not surprise. Out of boredom, I saw this stall nearby the cinema and escalators.

Cupcakes!!

I've been eyeing on these colourful and attractive cupcakes for awhile now. So, I decided hey, why not I just give it a shot?

I got one for myself and the other one for Elle.

Its too cute to be eaten. =P

wow, this is so sinful.
The pink colour vanilla icing and its perfectly moist chocolate cupcake.
Not too wet and not too dry. I wouldn't really consider it moist actually.

Elle picked a Vanilla cupcake with Nutella.
I'm not sure how it taste like but it should be good. =D

Muahahaha!
Its gone!!! =D

I think i could eat 10 of these and not feeling guilty where all the sugar will go.

One of these cost RM5.
Kinda pricey for just one cupcake. =/
I'm torn between having to say its not really worth it and that its worth it.
Nonetheless, I'm feeling that its somehow worth it.

Now, I so wanna get just another one..  or maybe two. =D teheheheee

Dark Chocolate

Remembered the Dutch Shortcake I posted earlier?

I just found out it is 380 calories per biscuit.
Its equivalent to one fried chicken and a glass of teh tarik.
@@

Oh! theres another type of biscuit my mum bought from Marks and Spencer.
I don't really consume dark chocolate at all. Maybe once in a blue moon but I think this one is an exception.

Its not as bitter as I expected with the buscuit underneath the coated dark chocolate, its just perfect!
The chocolate is not those cheap hard flaky kind of texture. Its soft and melts in your fingers(if you hold it too long/too hard).
I forgot to take a picture of it. XD

Terence, mei Yean and Jeremy loves it! =D

Im so gonna try other types of cookies or candies or biscuit from Marks and Spencer.

i love cookiez. =D

I'm just ever so in love with food. Pastries would be the top in my list of favourite food. Cookies, cream puffs, cakes, tarts, pies, croissants, and yeah, you get the picture right?

You could get this at Marks and Spencer at RM10 here in Malaysia.

Pastries can be or ARE fattening.
Maybe that's why I love it. =P
Fattening food are just awesome.
French Fries, Ramlee Burger, Cheesecakes, Nutella Chocolate Spread, Nasi Lemak, Fried Bananas(Pisang Goreng) and and and lots lots more!

Don't you wanna take a bite out of it? =D
Just one bite? HEHE

Cream Puffs.

I almost forgot how much I've always loved cream puffs. My mum used to tell me, when I was young (3 to 7 years old) I'm like obsessed with cream puffs coz I always ask my mum to go to King's Bakery to buy cream puffs. I was living in Cheras back then.

Ever since I moved to Ampang, I totally forgot about cream puffs. I totally forgot about the existence of it until earlier of this year when I bought some cream puffs for Afiq since I was in Pavilion and he was gonna pick me up. He gave me some to try and I remembered! =D

I love the powdered sugar topping.

I love the pastry cream/custard filling.

Its hot on the outside and cold in the inside.

(pictures taken by MOMO, Canon 500D) except for the last one i took from some website.

I bought the cream puffs from Beard Papa's at Pavilion. Its kinda expensive. One cream puff cost RM3.40. But its delicious! =D

I so wanna eat the custard fillings now! @@

Banana Leaf Rice

Vishalachirs in Brickfields is so far the best restaurant that serves Banana Leaf Rice. I haven't tried the other dishes coz its only available from 4pm onwards but I love their Banana Leaf Rice. I didn't take any pictures coz I was starving like I haven't eaten for days.

After college yesterday, I went with Theeben, Jeremy and Arnold. The three clowns. LOL. The food was awesome! fulfilling!  Every time I think of it, I feel hungry.

I've tried the Banana Leaf rice at Taman Melawati but its not as satisfying as the one in Brickfields.

oh! There's another one! Restoran Raju at Jalan Gasing, PJ. Afiq brought be there a while ago and I'll be back for more! I haven't tried their banana leaf rice coz I was that hungry at that moment. I had some other dishes and it was really really good that I forgotten Afiq was there. HEHE.

After my AS Exams are over, its food binging time! hmmmm, maybe not binging lah. Afiq!!! Lets go to Raju's again! =DDDD

Shopping with Elle.

I haven't shopped for about 2 months already. T.T
So, I finally had the time on Friday since I finish my class at 11 a.m.

While waiting for Elle to finish school at 12.30 noon, I was walking around KLCC with a growling stomach. I was so hungry coz I didn't eat anything for breakfast.

When Elle arrived, she was like

"Eh, let's go eat chillis."

I was thinking of eating Subways but then again..... HEHEHE

Here we are at Chillis! We got a long and huge table for 2 person. =D I was satisfied coz I've got lotsa space to sit and dump my bags.

My all time favourite, Bottomless Tostada Chips!

I love their salsa dip, coz you're hot and your're cold!

Elle's meal, something that I used to order.

Grilled Fire Chicken Portobello.
Notice that its a heart-shaped chicken?

My not so mouth-watering meal. =(
It didn't taste as good too.

After Chillis, we walked to Pavilion.

I love their Grand Entrance and will always do.

I look forward for every festivals coz Pavilion has the most creative or one of the most creative and attractive festive decorations.

You can see the ever so bright red lanterns from a distance. The deco was simple and I like the simple things that captures my attention and makes me go "oooooooh" and "wow!"

These lanterns look like dangling candies. =DDDDD

The Fountain.

Someday, I'm gonna get a Coach handbag. @@

A few strange incidents happened while we're shopping. One of it was a lady photographer from The Star newspapers randomly came up and asked Elle and I to pose for her with the decoratios at Pavilion's Entrance.

Both of us were like "oh why not", its just a picture. Both of us posed awkwardly coz we were being told to look fascinated with the flowers. LOL.

Our legs were about to break from all the walking. not that we're wearing heels coz we're wearing sport shoes. We came up wit this radom idea to watch a movie called Fame. I thought I would regret watching it but it was actually a great movie.

The movie  made me feel like dancing again. =)

The end.

I really really can't wait for Chinese New Year.

Galler Chocolate *edits : more pictures*

Galler Chocolate.

Its one of the very few chocolate bars I could really eat it in one shot. I love how the hazel nuts blend perfectly with the chocolate. Unlike any other chocolate bars, the hazel nuts aren't as hard as rocks and the amount of hazel nuts in it are more than enough to satisfy your taste buds and the love of chewing nuts (LOL).

I hate it when the chocolates I love are not sold in Malaysia where I can just get it anytime I want. =(

Japanese Food with the love ones, New year's Eve Celebration & Mike and Leny's Wedding.

I've been wanting to blog about so many things but I've been having the "Lazy Disease".

Two days before the year 2010, I met an old friend. I dont mean, old = tua. He's a friend I haven't met in years and it was a pleasure to hang out again after such a long time.

He's back from Scotland for the Christmas Holidays and we manage to contact each other and tadaaaaa! Here we are in Chinoz, KLCC.

 Jia Weii.

***

So, In case you might wonder what I did on New Year's Eve or where I went? and with who?

This year, along with Elle, Ji Mi, Joon Hong, Afiq and I, we drove up to Bukit Antarabangsa. Instead of going to all the crowded places like KLCC, Bukit Bintang, Pavilion, One Utama, Look Out Point etc etc, we decided to go to a place with lesser people and we had the whole view of Kuala Lumpur.

There were fireworks everywhere popping like colourful mushrooms. =D

We were standing on someone's backyard so that we could see the view better. HEHE

A shot by Joon Hong.

After the fireworks was over, we exchange wishes and hugs and sealed with a kiss.
Our resolution for 2010 are in our heads ready to be listed down one by one.

We decided to stay for awhile at a large field behind people's backyard. =.=
It was a large field actually, like a playground and those people's house happened to be there.

After that, we went to McDonalds for supper like we did last year. =)
It was simple and I loved it.

***

I don't remember what date is it but here's another makan session. I was so excited to watch Sherlock Holmes but for some reason, we didn't watch it.

This was me when we're on our way. After getting to know I couldn't watch the movie, I was a bit disappointed.

Elle and Afiq had an amazingly odd craving for Japanese food every time we go out. I'm not really a fan of Japanese food was feeling very reluctant and somehow or another they manage to drag me into the restaurant.

 I love Unagi

and raw Salmon. =D

Since both of you love Japanese so much, next time you people have to eat what I wanna eat.
Indian food. =DD
Banana Leaf Rice! Chapati!

On the 3rd of January 2010.

It is the day my cousin, Michael got married. =DD

My family and I attended the wedding that was held in Great Eastern Mall.

Every time my parents get an invitation to a wedding, ESPECIALLY Chinese wedding, my sister and I would feel dreaded to go for it. Like every other typical Chinese weddings, they'll have it in a hotel or a grand Chinese Restaurant. This time and for the first time ever, I was really eager to actually attend the wedding.

 My parents.

Oh! The wedding dress code was ; A Touch of Red.

Knowing myself, I don't have that many clothes which are red, So I was forced to wear this,

I don't usually wear like this for wedding but this time it was an exception! =P

My cousin was really creative to have the wedding venue at a Japanese Restaurant. (OMG, Japanese again =.=)

Location : Great Eastern Mall.

Come to think of it, I realised I haven't seen my nieces (Yes, I'm an Auntie already although I don't feel like one at all.) in ages!

I also haven't met my Auntie who sent me two boxes of Dominos pizza through delivery and I was so confused coz I didn't order any pizza. I actually called up Dominos to find out what actually happened. In the end of the day only I found out that it was actually from my Auntie. =) Awww

She's another poser, I tell you. Very photogenic.

I was so looking forward for lunch coz I was actually looking forward to eat some Salmon Sashimi's. =D

I was a lil bit disappointed coz there weren't many salmon sashimi's =(

But what the hell, I ate whatever that was served. XD

Unlike weddings at a Hotel or a Grand Chinese Restaurant, the food are almost all the same and like Elle said : If the wedding on the card is at 6pm, dinner will be served 2 hours later.

Its not that I hate Chinese wedding, I just don't like it to be too long especially if the person who is getting married is someone I don't know or I don't really know that well. Old habits are hard to die out. Some would still prefer a dinner wedding at a hotel or a Grand Chinese Restaurant regardless on what we think of it.

What I love about wedding is that I get to meet up with my relatives and chat with them.

 This is my cousin-in-law.
Look how happy he is to see me. XD
or maybe the camera flash is too bright.

I feel so tiny and squished over here.
The guy in red is the groom aka my cousin.
and the lady in red is also my cousin. I mean, the one sitting down.
Gawd, now I can't even describe a person who wears red coz almost all of us are wearing red.

Oh! one more thing!
I even met my High School History teacher, Mr. Tiew!

Apparently my cousin, Michael and I went to the same high school school. Mr.tiew was also my cousin's history teacher. XD It's been a long time, sir.

My dad, looking good. =)

Since I became an Auntie to my nieces, he became a Granduncle. =D

Since my dad loves taking pictures more than my mum, you can see more pictures of my dad with us rather than with my mum.

The wedding lunch was alright. It was simple and sweet.

 Congratulations to Mike and Leny!
I don't know why the bride look so sad here. Elle and I realised she looked sad and down throughout the wedding. hmmm...

That's about it. =)
