How I spent my Merry Christmas

I spent almost every Christmas out of KL. Except last year, I celebrated in KL, shopping. =D My auntie and uncle invited us over to their place at Sitiawan, Perak. Its a really small town with no shopping malls like Bukit Bintang or Pavilion. But hey, at least there's McDonalds and 7-Eleven.

We stopped at Sungai Buloh Rest Area. We had Sate for Dinner.

It wasn't the best Sate I've ever tasted but it still taste awesome especially if you're really hungry!

We arrived at midnight and the kids were still so wide awake running around, colouring and playing hide and seek.

My four-year-old cousin is fascinated with Elle's braces.
When I had braces years before, she always ask me
"Denise jie jie why do you like to put shiny stickers on your teeth??"

The next day, I woke up late. The kids were jumping on the bed trying to wake Elle, Mj and I.

I took my bath and my auntie called all of us to go down to her clinic for a checkup. When it was my turn, my auntie started using those thing that produce like she's gonna drill my tooth out. She did scaling for us which is cleaning our teeth, remove tartar (CaCO3) and did some fillings for tooth cavity.

The Dentist.

She's earning big bucks as an ordinary Dentist. Has awesome techniques and skills when it comes to handling the patients tooth.

She graduated from The University of Indonesia with Honors under the government's scholarship. And I do hope someday in the future, I'll get mine too.

It was Christmas Eve and later that night we had sort of a buffet dinner at "home". The maids prepared almost everything. I miss having a maid at home. LOL.

Briyani rice with cashew nuts and raisins. <3

together with mutton curry, fried chicken, salad and carbonated Air Bandung.
It was awesome.

After dinner, it was time to give out the presents.

Love the tree. =)

Actually, I'm not a Christian and I sure do know Christmas isn't all about the presents and Santa Clause. Its a time where you share the joy of having each other whether if it is your family or friends. I'm not really aware the deeper meaning of it though.

Look how excited he is. =D

Elle got Jenga blocks as her present. LOL

I got a pair of black wedges. =D

Everyone had loads of fun that night. Elle, MJ and I spent most of the night on our phones.
Messages after messages and also phone calls.

After receiving endless of incoming messages, it stopped and I spent the rest of the morning talking on the phone for a really long time. =D

Christmas Day

All of us went to this seafood restaurant.

 Good business, I tell you.

Well, I can't really comment on the food coz I find it average.
I don't eat seafood.

 I love rice.
I know Carbo is fattening but whatever lahhh..

 Prawn Marmite.

Black Pepper Crab.

Love the Cocunut Juice.

 My parents.

 My Punjabi Uncle

and

 our host. =)

=D

After lunch,

Like always, we head down to Teluk Batik Beach. I've been here way before my younger cousins were born. I used to go Pangkor Island every year until I got tired of it.

The cutest of all, Nick.

He loves to say
"eeeee... Sho cute!!"

There was way too many people. T.T

I don't really like the beach here. Its a bit dirty but not as bad as Batu Ferringhi's beach. Or maybe it is. I still think as for now, Langkawi is the best.

Pipi and Pupu

The kids couldn't wait any longer. They didn't seem to care as along as they had fun.

and by the look of their faces and expression, They really did have fun.

As for me, i think I sort of had fun taking pictures and enjoy the sun.

=DDDD

There was a bit drama happened at the beach and it was all alright after that.

Lesson of the day : When they say they're leaving, they MEAN IT! - I quote by Elle Tan.

Had Soto for dinner. Damn wei, I've been eating a lot of good food. =D

I spent the rest of the night watching movies and talking on the phone and smsing once again. XD

What a day.

On Boxing Day.

It is the day marks the 5th Anniversary of The Tsunami 2004 killing massive amount of lives and properties. May your souls rest in peace.

It's the day we're going back to KL.

Spent my morning with Nick.

He's like dragging me from the room to the living room, to the kitchen and everywhere!!

He wanted Vitagen.
Look how possessive he is.
Something that my Uncle and Auntie would never buy for them coz its sweet and all sugary.
Actually, they don't get to eat candies or sweets or vitagen or junks like potato ships and all coz my auntie doesn't want then to have tooth cavities. This is what happened when your mom is a dentist and your dad is a doctor.

He couldn't stop asking me to play blocks and cars with him.
He loves jumping on beds which I'm not allowed to. T.T

After awhile, he settles down on the floor, fast asleep.

I keep asking this two-year-old to sleep on the sofa or on his bed but he doesn't want.
I ended up taking a pillow for him to sleep on.
Poor fella.
He must be real tired to even wake up.

You know, kids nowadays are so different.

The first time I read Seventeen Magazine when I was 14.

Kids nowadays,

read Seventeen at a tender age of four.
So cute right?? XD

Those magazines were mine and I gave to my auntie for her fellow patients to read while waiting for their turn.

I think she got the photogenic side from Elle.

When it was time for us to go, the youngest one, Nick was crying and sobbing in tears that his face and eyes went all read. He wanted to follow us home. awww  =(

I remember I was like that when I was younger too. Its really amazing to watch over the kids as they grow. I can't wait to tell them the things they do or say when they're all grown ups. =D It'll be hilarious. The things they do and the words they say.

That all for now.

GOSH!!! It took me so long to upload all these pictures. There are like 1500 pictures in my computer but ofcourse I can't be uploading all of them.

That was how I spent my Christmas as I had a wonderful time over there.
=)
