Movie?

I just watched Slumdog Millionaire.

....

My heart ached while watching it.

My throat felt so heavy and I was gonna walk out of the cinema right at that moment.

I could not bear watching it yet at the same time, I want to know how it ends.

This movie is the best movie I've ever watched so far in my 17 years.

I don't know which word to pick from to describe this movie until you watch it yourself. Touching. Bitter. Torture. Heaven. Gratitude. Brilliant. Genius. Brutal. Heartbreaking. Love. Sacrifice. gosh...

This movie is a million times better than the Benjamin Button movie.

oh dear... Now, I am asking myself, WHY THE HELL DIDN'T I GET THAT BOOK MONTHS EARLIER?!?!?!?!!! Slumpdog Millionaire is from the novel "Q & A" by Vikas Swarup. Arrrrghhh!!!!! I should've bought that book last year!!!!!! I knew it was a good book but... Never mind... I'm gonna get it anyway one way or another.

I like the main character in that movie. He obviously can dance ballroom. XD!!

So, go watch it. =)

This movie was nominated and won 3 awards for Best Films such as The Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards and BAFTA Awards. Well, this movie won a lot of awards. Check this out.

anyway, push that aside... I'm starting to taste a sip what its like in the REAL world.. Its so complex and... ugh.. I need to sleep.

I can't seem to understand myself lately.... *sighs*

*lights out*

I won't say the story was anything real special. The movie was good because of the way the present the story. The way they mix the clip, directing the story and keeping suspense and many more was the real gist of the movie. That's why the movie won mostly, if not all, technical awards like video editing, sound mixing, cinematography, best original song and etc. The book might be interesting, but i think you'll be disappointed when you read the book because the bar set by the movie was really high.

It's pretty understandable for a 17 years-old girl to find Slumpdog erhem, a "million" times better than Button. Just wondering, what exactly makes Slumpdog so attractive, do you know? Do you know that the biggest winner in the movie Slumpdog is not the story itself but A.H. Rahman? Do you know music is the fastest key to your emotion? More interestingly, do you know what makes you tingle?

For what it's worth: it's never too late to find out. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. You can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you meet people and become wiser. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.

You're so young : )

TKS : Ah well, I love the way they present the movie too. Hmm... yeah, its nothing special but like you said, they way they present it.

Fellow Malaysian : Yeah, its the music everything that comes together with it. I know how music can sway my emotions. Curious case case of benjamin button was overall okay for me. I was so eager to watch it because of the storyline. No doubt it was unique. But, i was a little disappointed as I expected more.

Just curious though, how do you know I am really 17?

Thanks for the advice. =) Although I'm not so sure what are you referring to exactly? In general maybe?

LOL.. Denise, I think Fellow Malaysian knew that you're 17 years old by reading this line:

"This movie is the best movie I've ever watched so far in my 17 years." XD

To fellow Malaysian, yes, A.H. Rahman won 2 awards, has his name printed on the newspaper all over the world. However the director Danny Boyle was the mastermind behind all these. Gotta give him some credits.

Just another thing about the movie, you have to give props to the Indians government for allowing this movie to be released. Malaysian government won't let this movie go anywhere because it "spoils the country's reputation" while showing the truth.

TKS. Ohhhh, I just realised that. XD

Malaysian govt? Them again? =.="
