Listen to my heart

I'm 19 this year. Another year older but I still feel 17. In a way I could say that I'm still young. Its hard to believe that 2009 flew by so swiftly.

Being 19, There are still so many things in the world, somewhere, waiting to be explored. When I was 16, I had a picture of me in a few years time. Thinking back about it right now, what I had in mind before was completely different. Things change with time.

What I'm trying to say is that I can't predict the future, no one can unless you have an amazing gift from up above.

Anyway, ignore what I've just written.

*

About my previous post,I feel like I should elaborate on it. Usually, I keep my thoughts all to myself. I keep it safe and locked in my heart. Its not that I don't wanna share it with people. People always say sharing is caring. However, it is not applicable for all circumstances.

Based on my previous post, I just feel insecure. I was afraid of making the same mistake I did before. I was feeling lost coz I have so my questions in my head without assured answers. I worry way too much.

I understand almost everything you've told me. It was the same words that someone once told me, just that its in a different sentence. We're still young. Still very young. There are a lot of things the world has to offer and it would be a waste not to explore them. The temptations are seductive. The urge to try new things is hard to resist. Who are we to stop it?

I do get a lil bit jealous but its natural for one to feel this way. But, I don't wanna stop the people I love from doing the things they want. I don't want to be the reason or excuse for that. Except when the things involved, would put their lives in great danger, I'll do my best to stop it from happening. Its because I care...

I hurt us. I hurt you. You hurt me. and I hurt myself. Somehow or another, I am terribly Sorry... =( As cliche as it sound.. From the bottom of my heart I am Sorry..

I just want whats best for us and the people I dearly care for.

I'm ready for the things that has yet to come. I may not take it well as I find it hard for myself to adapt to changes but one thing is for sure, I will move on.

But for now...

I wanna concentrate on what I have in life right here, right now. I can't change the past, I can't predict the future but I can do my very best right now, to appreciate what I have,  to love as much as I can, enjoy my teenage years as much as I desire and to be happy. =)

A not so lovely week.

For the past 1 week, I felt different. I felt emotionally different. I don't know if my heart changed or it stays the same because I feel different.

I feel tired. Physically and Emotionally, I'm tired. I really am. College starts as early as 8 a.m. At 7.15 a.m, I am already in the car with my dad nagging at me. Not a good start for the day. It has been going on for almost a week and I hate being nagged at every morning. When I'm in college, its the only time where I don't remember the pain I have in this heavy heart. In college, is where I met Stress.

Stress makes me worry. It makes me work hard for what I want to acheive now and later on in life. I'm worried. Sometimes, I worry too much. It has come to a point where I just don't give a damn anymore.

The things I have to study and the work I have to finish, piles up.

I got home from college. I was dead beat. Afternoon naps are my escapism from reality. I feel contented that I dont have to worry for a few hours in a day. Sometimes, afternoon naps turns into a 12-hour sleep. I'll be awake the next morning, getting ready for college. The cycle repeats.

For the past 1 week, I felt really different. I don't know where my heart is. I start to question myself what Love is. For a moment I knew what Love is.

I could spend hours talking on the phone with never-ending things to tell you. Even if we hung up the phone 5 minutes ago.

I used to go to sleep feeling contented and blissful because I somehow feel that the next day would be another day I felt like I could jump around with joy written all over my face.

I love the way you wrap your hands around my waist.

I love it when you talk to me in that cute voice which makes feel like pinching your cheeks.

I love you more than I love Banana Leaf Rice.

I always believe that it is vital to be truthful and to be honest with yourself, with life and also the people you love.

*

Now, since the day I told you to go home to Sherlock Holmes, I felt like I've lost part of my heart as it filled itself with void.

I couldn't look into your eyes the same way anymore because I see it differently now.

My feelings fluctuates drastically.

I keep reminding myself what we've gone through, the things you do that brightens up my day. Sometimes, it makes me smile every night before I go to sleep. Hoping that this sad feeling will go away and hoping that it was just temporary.

I accept it for what it is.

I gave Love a chance.

It still hurts.

and for now, I'm lost with words.

I just wanna sleep....

*throat thickens...*

I hate being pressured.

Today will be one of the days where I'll be having a headache after my college ends. College started two weeks ago and I know I shouldn't be complaining but I feel so pressured almost all the time.

Being an assistant class representative gives me more responsibilities and adding more weight on my shoulders. I don't know how Larry, my class representative does it. My job to collect money from my classmates for their tutorial books.

I really hate collecting money, I tell you. I'm not joking! I seriously hate collecting money from people. I dislike having to ask money and keep track of the amount I have coz I can't have extra and I definitely can't have less than what I'm supposed to get. Maybe having extra is better than having less. But anyway.... I hate collecting money from people like an Ah Long.

Though.... I wish I could keep it for myself. =DDD

LOL
No way that is ever gonna' happen.

Besides collecting money, this year's syllabus for all my subject are..... kinda hard.

Lets Start with Mathematics. It is divided into two kinds. Pure Maths and Applied Maths. Pure Maths is like whatever you learn in your Form 4&5 Add Maths plus a lil bit more stuffs. Applied Maths is Statistics, Probabilities and theres Physics stuffs too!!! @.@

I dropped Physics in my first semester because I know I wouldn't do well in it. In my high school years, I never gotten and A for physics. The highest I've scored was a low B and that was once. Usually I'll get a C or a D. Surprisingly I got a B3 for SPM. I'm not good at Physics. I can't accept that I have to calculate the speed of a bouncing ping pong. But that's not the reason why I dropped that subject. I dropped it coz I know that I wouldn't do well and it wouldn't look nice on my final result.

I thought by dropping physics, I wouldn't be doing much of physic-like questions. I know a few questions are unavoidable but I can't believe its one of the topics in Applied Maths. Oh dear... I don't like question 11(b).
As much as I can complain, I still have to do it.

Biology.

I think I read this 10 times and understand half of it.

So, I read it again and again and I finally understood it. =D with some help of past year papers and exercises.

Chemistry?

I don't wanna talk about it.
Its depressing. T.T

I'm worried.
A-Levels is not easy. T.T
Unless, you're born a genius, that will be a different story.

I don't think I need anything that could distract/burden me so that I could accomplish what I've signed up for and to do well in it.

Lets say if I didn't do well and I can't study Dentistry for Degree, I think I wanna open up a Candy Store.. =DDD

or I can be a Dentist AND open up a Candy Store.
Contradicting right? XDDD

or I'll join Shao Wen to sell Kari Mee
or help out Mei Yean at her Nasi Lemak Shop.

Galler Chocolate *edits : more pictures*

Galler Chocolate.

Its one of the very few chocolate bars I could really eat it in one shot. I love how the hazel nuts blend perfectly with the chocolate. Unlike any other chocolate bars, the hazel nuts aren't as hard as rocks and the amount of hazel nuts in it are more than enough to satisfy your taste buds and the love of chewing nuts (LOL).

I hate it when the chocolates I love are not sold in Malaysia where I can just get it anytime I want. =(

Japanese Food with the love ones, New year's Eve Celebration & Mike and Leny's Wedding.

I've been wanting to blog about so many things but I've been having the "Lazy Disease".

Two days before the year 2010, I met an old friend. I dont mean, old = tua. He's a friend I haven't met in years and it was a pleasure to hang out again after such a long time.

He's back from Scotland for the Christmas Holidays and we manage to contact each other and tadaaaaa! Here we are in Chinoz, KLCC.

 Jia Weii.

***

So, In case you might wonder what I did on New Year's Eve or where I went? and with who?

This year, along with Elle, Ji Mi, Joon Hong, Afiq and I, we drove up to Bukit Antarabangsa. Instead of going to all the crowded places like KLCC, Bukit Bintang, Pavilion, One Utama, Look Out Point etc etc, we decided to go to a place with lesser people and we had the whole view of Kuala Lumpur.

There were fireworks everywhere popping like colourful mushrooms. =D

We were standing on someone's backyard so that we could see the view better. HEHE

A shot by Joon Hong.

After the fireworks was over, we exchange wishes and hugs and sealed with a kiss.
Our resolution for 2010 are in our heads ready to be listed down one by one.

We decided to stay for awhile at a large field behind people's backyard. =.=
It was a large field actually, like a playground and those people's house happened to be there.

After that, we went to McDonalds for supper like we did last year. =)
It was simple and I loved it.

***

I don't remember what date is it but here's another makan session. I was so excited to watch Sherlock Holmes but for some reason, we didn't watch it.

This was me when we're on our way. After getting to know I couldn't watch the movie, I was a bit disappointed.

Elle and Afiq had an amazingly odd craving for Japanese food every time we go out. I'm not really a fan of Japanese food was feeling very reluctant and somehow or another they manage to drag me into the restaurant.

 I love Unagi

and raw Salmon. =D

Since both of you love Japanese so much, next time you people have to eat what I wanna eat.
Indian food. =DD

On the 3rd of January 2010.

It is the day my cousin, Michael got married. =DD

My family and I attended the wedding that was held in Great Eastern Mall.

Every time my parents get an invitation to a wedding, ESPECIALLY Chinese wedding, my sister and I would feel dreaded to go for it. Like every other typical Chinese weddings, they'll have it in a hotel or a grand Chinese Restaurant. This time and for the first time ever, I was really eager to actually attend the wedding.

 My parents.

Oh! The wedding dress code was ; A Touch of Red.

Knowing myself, I don't have that many clothes which are red, So I was forced to wear this,

I don't usually wear like this for wedding but this time it was an exception! =P

My cousin was really creative to have the wedding venue at a Japanese Restaurant. (OMG, Japanese again =.=)

Location : Great Eastern Mall.

Come to think of it, I realised I haven't seen my nieces (Yes, I'm an Auntie already although I don't feel like one at all.) in ages!

I also haven't met my Auntie who sent me two boxes of Dominos pizza through delivery and I was so confused coz I didn't order any pizza. I actually called up Dominos to find out what actually happened. In the end of the day only I found out that it was actually from my Auntie. =) Awww

She's another poser, I tell you. Very photogenic.

I was so looking forward for lunch coz I was actually looking forward to eat some Salmon Sashimi's. =D

I was a lil bit disappointed coz there weren't many salmon sashimi's =(

But what the hell, I ate whatever that was served. XD

Unlike weddings at a Hotel or a Grand Chinese Restaurant, the food are almost all the same and like Elle said : If the wedding on the card is at 6pm, dinner will be served 2 hours later.

Its not that I hate Chinese wedding, I just don't like it to be too long especially if the person who is getting married is someone I don't know or I don't really know that well. Old habits are hard to die out. Some would still prefer a dinner wedding at a hotel or a Grand Chinese Restaurant regardless on what we think of it.

What I love about wedding is that I get to meet up with my relatives and chat with them.

 This is my cousin-in-law.
Look how happy he is to see me. XD
or maybe the camera flash is too bright.

I feel so tiny and squished over here.
The guy in red is the groom aka my cousin.
and the lady in red is also my cousin. I mean, the one sitting down.
Gawd, now I can't even describe a person who wears red coz almost all of us are wearing red.

Oh! one more thing!
I even met my High School History teacher, Mr. Tiew!

Apparently my cousin, Michael and I went to the same high school school. Mr.tiew was also my cousin's history teacher. XD It's been a long time, sir.

My dad, looking good. =)

Since I became an Auntie to my nieces, he became a Granduncle. =D

Since my dad loves taking pictures more than my mum, you can see more pictures of my dad with us rather than with my mum.

The wedding lunch was alright. It was simple and sweet.

 Congratulations to Mike and Leny!
I don't know why the bride look so sad here. Elle and I realised she looked sad and down throughout the wedding. hmmm...

That's about it. =)

The second semester of my college just started and I've got no time to waste.

I'm glad that I get to see all my college friends again. =D

Recap of 2009

2009 was one heck of a year. *giggles . I can't believe year 2009 ended so fast.

I had lotsa first-time experience throughout the year. Some good and some not so good. He's some recap of what I've done in 2009. =)

1. I got a job at Nando's Call Center as an Agent. I worked over there for 2 months and ate Nando's Chicken for 2 months and I swore never to eat Nando's Chicken for awhile. Working is not easy. This is where I got my first paycheque..

2. I got my SPM results around the mont of March. It isn't the results I expected but I got 7 A1's and 3 B3's. =) Its not good enough for JPA Scholarship as I've tried applying for it. It was enough to obtain a Merit Scholarship from my college. =)

3. I went for a Holiday with my High School Friend to Penang - without my parents. This is also the first time I missed my flight. A few of my friends and I had to Fork out RM150 extra each for a one way ticket to Penang. Lesson to be learned : Wake up early.

4. I signed up for my Undang test and driving lessons. I scored 44/50 for the test and I hate to wait at my driving school.

5. Played paintball for the very first time. It was introduced by Nick Lim. I had red marks and bruises on my skin thanks to him. XD Paintball is an expensive sport that I can never afford to play often.

6. I started dating again after 2 years being single. I love talking for until the whee hours of the morning coz it wasn't boring.. and the butterflies in my stomach feeling.

7. I'm in college. It was a whole new world for me. The people I've met and the friends I made from all over Malaysia. The life and times being a college student. A Levels is ridiculously a tough cookie to crack.

8. I donated blood. The first time was not my lucky day. I whole hand was badly bruised like it got ran over my a lorry. My mum, a pharmacist and my uncle, a doctor said the nurse who did it for me was an idiot. I felt so embarrassed going out with my parents and boyfriend coz the public gave me this death stare like I've been abused by them. I had to wear 3/4 sleeve or a jacket most of the time to avoid people constantly asking me what happened to my hand when they see me.

9. Took KTM for the first time with my girlfriend, Mei Yean and hated it coz we had to wait so long.

10. I went to prom for the first time ever with Wye Kik as my prom date. =D He was so sweet the night. That night only! =P Ok la... Most of the time. AHAHAHAHAH!

11. I wished that my boyfriend's body will be something like that. =X

I'm just jokingg!!!! =P

12. The day I turned 18 and legal. I was surprised by my college friends with a white handbag and another surprise by my boyfriend and sister. =DDDDD I'll never forget it.

13. I got my driver's license!

14. My sister and I got a box of 100 panty liners from my neighbour. Damn random. Until now, we haven't finish using it !

15. Studied for my exams like I was sitting for SPM. As in like that in every exams.

16. Baked cookies for the first time with Mei Yean at her house. =DDDDD It turned out nice, okay... HEHEHE.

17. I got drunk and puke. Something I'm not proud of.

18. Got a debit card for myself. =D

I have way too many little deatils of what I've done and experienced in 2009 and I can never write everything out. Like I said, I had one heck of a year and as much as I enjoyed it, I really do hope 2010 will be way better than before. This year, things will be different I'm quite sure about that. I can't believe I'm turning 19 soon.

let's just move on shall we? =D

My next post will be more of a picture post. So, stay tuned. =)

Till' next time!
