Penang Trip Day 3 (Part 1)

Day 3 (Part 1)

I woke up having a few red patches on my skin. I knew that this was coming and I swallowed a tablet of Loratidine (Clarytine). We had breakfast and hop onto our van. Our first plan for the day is to the Butterfly Farm. As some of you know, one of us is very afraid of butterflies and this was the time for him to get over it (hopefully).

Before that, Mr Yap brought us to a jetty. I don't really know why we were there but it was a beautiful sight of the horizon. Perfect to watch the sunset or sunrise. At 12 p.m, it was neither. We were under the blazing hot sun.

He made us walk on wooden planks that looked like its gonna crash and yet its standing so strong.

I have a slight phobia of heights as some of you may know. Just a little. Even hiking up Penang Hill and looking down I'm A fat pig n creeps me out. At least I am able to control by not looking down. But, I can't get my eyes off the wooden planks. I just walked too see whats install for me at the end of it. The scenery was spectacular.

I really like it despite the glaring sun and the heat.

The water was greenish blue. I've seen better water colours in Langkawi . I really like it despite the glaring sun and the heat. You might just spot some fishes or jellyfish(pic) while walking along the planks.

Not all of us are in this picture. Kah Fai is missing in this pic. I guess it was too hot that he don't even feel like walking. I was also quite afraid that I'll be more tanned. My skin has 2 shades of colour and I don't really like it. Thanks to all the activities under the sun in Langkawi 3 months ago.

The first time I saw this picture, I felt moved. I know that this trip will most probably be our last time we have the chance to spend our time with each others as classmates and friends. Credits to Charmaine for this picture. Its better than my picture above.

Anyway....

Welcome to Penang Butterfly Farm!

Shaz was already sweating like crazy. We entered The farm and

SURPRISE!!!!!

Butterflies were everywhere!

Butterfly pupa. They are real.

I have the tendency to do this. Seriously.
I didn't know until I saw this sign. Poor butterfly.

As I was walking, I came across this little butterfly.
It was surrounded by ants and the ants were carrying it to store as food? maybe?

Shaz was terrified with all the butterflies flying everywhere. Poor guy.

I took some random pictures.

omg. kinda disgusting and yet so fascinating.

This reminds me of some bugs I ate in Bangkok. So similar.
Its the process of becoming a butterfly.

It start out looking so dusgusting that you despise it.
Af all the process, it blossomed into a beautiful butterfly with colourful exoskeleton and some of are "mumified" for personal collecrtion/decoration.

Ewww...

After butterfly Farm, we went to Botanic Garden. It was kinda boring there since it was so hot and most of us are so lazy to walk. We went to a small waterfall and played with sand. haha.

You know, throughout the trip I felt like there was some sort of tension in the air. There was a slight conflict going on here and there. Hmm... I'm not sure how to describe it but it was not a pleasant feeling at all. It tires me. I guess we can't escape from it. It is bound to happen one way or another. We talked about things. Some of it made me laugh and some of it makes me sad. The hardest part will be saying goodbye? Lets see about that.

Till this day, I still can't believe I broke my slippers again!! Sheeshhhh.... I am so afraid of wearing slippers/flip flop nowadays. =.=

To be continued..... This post is quite long since I took more pictures. haha.
