Pulau Perhentian it is.
But then, one thing strike our mind, is it monsoon season??? There goes our geography. None of us remembered. I got an A for my geography for PMR and yet I can't remember. XD Tru enough, it was monsoon season and an air tickets there is way over our budget. About RM 600 or so.
So, we had to find another island. On our list, we had Langkawi and Pangkor. We just got back from Langkawi in December and I've been to Pangkor at least once a year. So, the only Island left was Penang. =)
We googled our hotels and air tickets. Jhun booked everything for the 8 of us. From the air tickets, bus tickets and accommodation. Thank you very much!!
Our plane ticket is RM 80 (return flight),
bus ticket from KL Sentral To LCCT Terminal (vice versa) is RM 18,
Hotel accommodation is about. RM 100 per person for 4 days and 3 nights.
We all love cheap prices. Don't we? We're not rich kids. We booked the cheapest flight available. We stayed at the cheapest hotel we could ever find, Sri Sayang Hotel. I had almost everything we need. Its a 3 room apartment with 2 toilets, 2 balconies, a living room and a kitchen.
Our holiday is from 8th March to 11 March 2009. We assumed that our SPM results will be out on the 12th. haha. Well, our assumption was right.
So, here is what we did on the 7th and 8th (Day 1).
On the 7th, Shaz, Jhun and I went out shopping for our stuffs. Shaz wanted to buy a pair of jeans and shirt. too bad none of them fit him. Not even the largest size fits him nowadays. Eat la some more and no exercise. XD
Jhun was looking for a shirt and jacket. He only bought a shirt from Body Glove.
As for me, I wanted to buy a jackets and a pair of sandals. Sadly, I did not buy anything because I can't find anything nice. The guys said I am picky. SWT.
We walked from KLCC to Pavilion to Sg. Wang and to Times Square. My feet hurts from all the walking. As we were walking at these places, I noticed that there's like a sudden overpopulation of people in groups with colourful attire. You know what I mean if you actually walk along Pavilion to SG. Wang and to Times Square. Shaz and Jhun said I'm allergic to these kind of people. Yes, I am.
Here is what I think of them,
Most of them have no sense of style. Some of them looked okay but the others are just too painful to look at. They are like everywhere that area!! Maybe its their so called territory, I don't know. They are loud and loves to shuffle. ugh.I feel terrified around them.
We were out for the whole day. We ate sushi for dinner. We ate at Ichiban Boshi at Pavilion. It was our first time and we gave it a try. It tuned out to be really good. Better than Sushi King (obviously) and Sakae Sushi. I want to try Nippon Tei and Saisaki next time.
I love to eat and take pictures so much!
Shaz loves green tea so much!
We keep calling the waiter/waitress but none of them saw us. So, he had to put up his oh-so-cute-begging face for some refills!

One thing that all of us can't stand about eating in a Japanese Restaurant is the Sushi Counter.
The food constantly pass by our very own eyes. Every plate that passed by, the temptation of taking a plate of it is just almost unbearable. I hate rotating sushi counters. grrr...
Later that night, Shaz, Charmaine and I crashed at Jhun's place for a movie, Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Its a British movie. It was a good movie. It will definitely make you laugh. We crashed at his place because out flight is at 6.55 a.m and we have to leave by 4am. We watched the movie until 2.30a.m. I was so so sleepy that I went home to sleep for 1 hour? Charmaine tagged along. Usually, we'll just stay there for the night but I wanted to go home.
I set my alarm at 3.30 a.m but I overslept until 4 a.m. That is where Kok Siang called and woke me up. He told me that Shaz and Jhun are not picking up the phone. So, I called them hoping that they are already awake but they are not. omg...
We rushed to KL Sentral in 10 minutes. It was such a relief as we thought we were late. We got onto the bus and waited down there for 45 minutes. It is already 5 a.m.
The worst has yet to come...
To be continued... Stay tuned for more..
